J.F. Germain & Sons British Pipe Tobacco

Founded in the 19th century, J.F. Germain & Sons is an important part of the British tobacco industry. The business began in Jersey, British Isles, which at the time was well-suited for tobacco production thanks to its unique micro-climate.

The multi-generational family tobacco business is recognised for the traditional blending techniques used, often done by hand and in celebration of timeless recipes.

After around 200 years of production, J.F. Germain & Son still operates in the same location in Jersey, with the factory in St Helier. They are one of the few remaining British pipe tobacco blenders – a smoke to enjoy not only for the exceptional taste and quality, but also for the rich heritage.

Germain’s Pipe Tobacco Blends

J.F. Germain & Sons have a reputation which has allowed them to last the test of time; they’re renowned for their unique and traditional pipe tobacco blends, and we’re proud to stock these at Havana House.

One of their most recognisable blends is the Royal Jersey. These meticulously crafted blends are made up of the highest-quality tobacco rather than relying on casings. Blends of Royal Jersey include Latakia, Perique, and Cavendish and Virginia.
